Baby #3 is on it's way
We were in the middle of shopping for a new home when I began to feel so much worse than "usual". We had been working our way thru a short list of properties and had reached the end of the list when we found a home that could be ours. We looked at the house on Friday, December 13th. We prayed about it and made an offer on Saturday, December 14th. Sunday morning I woke up feeling so horrible. We went to church and while we were there, I felt like I was struggling for breath....like an asthma attack, even though I've never had one before. We asked some friends to take Ellie and Sarah home after church while Bryan and I went to the ER to see what was wrong. While we were there, the physician asked if I could be pregnant and I laughed and said, "absolutely not!". (I had just began taking a cortical steroid, had been on high doses of birth control & I ovulate no more than twice a year due to a server hormone imbalance.) About an hour later, the doctor came back and said that i was pregnant. I was in shock....for two days. We never did find out why i was struggling to breathe. Talk about a miracle. Monday, December 16th our offer was accepted. Our lives shifted course dramatically; new home, new baby = new opportunities!
