New Home in Spanish Fork
We have moved again. This time we are hoping that the third home is the charm, our forever home. We have increased our square footage and gotten away from the HOA. We have a huge pantry that is hopefully large enough for our daily and food storage needs, quartz counter tops throughout the home, a dedicated laundry room, small computer room for school work, and 9’ ceilings throughout. Bryan finally gets his “Shop” in the 3rd car garage space. A completely finished basement provides Bonnie with a small photo studio/craft room, Bryan with a study, a guest bedroom and a large game media room premiered for 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos Surround sound. Spanish Fork has Fiber internet that is provided by the city. We were able to get a lot of pre-wiring built into the home to accommodate home audio in every room, security cameras, intercom, and distributed video.
Bryan thought his remodeling/construction days were done with the finished basement in Springville, but we didn’t get the minimal steps into the house (4 from ground level) so, he built a platform just out dies the garage door and added a “Costco” door that opens directly into the pantry. This way, an additional freezer in the garage is at the same level as the rest of the main floor and you can unload groceries directly onto the platform or right into the pantry without traversing the stairs.
A couple of weeks after moving in they started work on our landscaping, adding a sprinkler system and sod. A completed fence is coming soon. Moving during the COVID-19 pandemic was interesting. We had to get out of our Springville home a few days before our new home would be ready, so we stayed in a hotel for 3 days. Bryan was working form home during that time so it wasn’t too difficult to deal with.
