Rub the Buddha (Bellie) and you'll have good luck!
We thought that it might be fun to have an idea how the little Buddha is growing.....granted most people (women) would think me nuts for displaying such things but I figured that this might be one way to deal with unpleasantness & discomforts of pregnancy. (I have gained so much weight with this pregnancy all ready so joking about the "buddha" is part of the comic relief.)
I guess I should start out with what I've been feeling since that is a very common question these days, which is appreciated because it just means that people care.
I felt really sick from the beginning. I would have "morning sickness" in the afternoon. I'd feel rather well in the morning but by 2 pm I'd just "crash". It was really hard because I loved the idea of playing "Suzie home maker" for Bryan but I’d come home and just lay on the couch trying to not throw up. Everyone kept telling me to wait until the first trimester.....but that felt like million miles away. However, after the 13th week, I began to have lots of really good days.
Now we just deal with one day at a time. I get, what I call "hormone headaches" that are random and blunt in their nature. I can honestly say that the only real symtom of pregnancy that i have....besides feeling as big as a house is that I'm tired, which is probably a totally normal sensation for pregnant women. I have learned to let Bryan baby me a little bit. I still have nausea to deal with but that’s probably normal too.
I'd just like to briefly mention the amount of times that I have to pee!!! I wake up between 4 am & 4:30 every single day to go pottie...and it doesn't stop there!! It seems like it's every half hour all through the day!!! It's the craziest thing!!
